During replacing the Y-carriage of my Prusa i3 "acrylic" i wanted to get rid of the cheap SCE8UU bearings. As i liked the design of the bearings i decided to make a similar housing for Igus RJMP bearings, you can use this to replace the original ones without drilling new holes ;) Based on a drawing i found on the web - sorry, no sources known bummer Included the Inventor drawing Instructions Print it in ABS! Holes are ment for 4.5mm inner diameter and 4mm screws to turn or push them to have a exact match on your rods. After that drill the hole for the RJMP bearings to EXACT 16mm Push the RJMP Bearings into the 16mm holes (1-2kg of force should not exceeded) Then sand the bottom of the housings on a flat table, having it on a 8mm rod, turn it 180 degrees after a while and sand again - you should have exact leveled bearings after that.
