This bobbin is designed to be used with the Schacht Sidekick spinning wheel, but may work on other wheels as well. The bobbin consist of three parts: two discs and a tube. The parts are screwed together using threads to avoid having to glue them permanently. ### Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Layer height: 0.2 mm Raft: no #### The discs - Support: yes - Both discs can be printed with the larger area on the print bed for minimal support - There is a small 2mm gap between the print bed and the start of the threads; support material helps to not print in-air - Infill: 20% #### The tube - Support: no - Infill: 100% ### Post-Printing 1. The tube itself is mostly hollow, but the two holes for the flyer shaft are designed to be narrower than necessary and must be drilled open using an 8.1mm drill. After that use a bit of type 600 sand paper to smoothen out the inner surface of the drill hole. 2. If the discs wobble, please make sure that all support material is removed and that the discs are screwed tightly onto the tube. ### Legal & Acknowledgements Schacht Sidekick is an registered name of Schacht Spindle Company.
