Sci-Fi Tube Connector for Cosplay/Props

Generic sci-fi tube connector, for use in general props and cosplay, originally for use at Orion Sphere LRP (http://www.orionspherelrp.co.uk). It's octagonal in shape, and has some detailing with the correct directions to lock and unlock it. Uses a triple catch which should lock in nicely into the slightly slanted housing with a 45 degree twist. This design is scaled for use with a 20mm diameter tube or pipe, but should re-scale well for other tube diameters. Each end has a 3mm hole to insert a fastening screw or bolt. There are 4 sets of connector files: F/MBase_End - Simple butted end, with a hole for fastening to a surface. F/MBase_WideEnd - Butted end with a splayed base and hole. F/MBase_Pipe - Open ended section with extra length for fixing a tube into. F/MBase_TrapPipe - As Pipe, but with internal forward-facing teeth to add extra grip to prevent the pipe slipping out, and should provide a better surface for glue. The F/M prefix refers to whether the part is the female or male connector. Otherwise theyre all interoperable. Orion Sphere LRP is a science fiction live roleplay game that run events in the UK.
