Scissors Extreme Re-Design

I am a junior from Conval High School located in Peterborough NH. My advising instructor is Karen Fabinski. For the extreme redesign challenge I decided to redesign the scissors. I added the ability for the scissors to pivot at the handles and to be able to adjust the spacing of the handles. The scissors pivoting at the handles give them the ability to cut at an angle, and the handles being able to slide on a bar lets the user adjust the handles for their hand size. The materials that would be used to construct the scissors is stainless steel for the blades, pin, screws, and extender bars, and plastic with rubber grips on them for the handles.
