Scottish Warrior American Mecha

Scottish Warrior American Mecha

The year was 1997. I was thirteen years old and I was thoroughly obsessed with Battletech. We were watching Braveheart practically once a week. I was listening to Martyn Bennett's techno bagpipe music and reading through the Northwind Highlanders Scenario Pack until I wore out the binding. Out of all this came a design that I called the Scottish Warrior. It wasn't the best mech, but it was one I was proud of and dearly wished I could have a miniature for. Now, almost thirty years later, I've finally built one in CAD. The sheet and the original drawing from my childhood technical readout are here as well, and the STL file so you can print your own Scottish Warrior is now on Thingiverse.
