Scout Rifle Concept #1

7.62x51 NATO chambered scout rifle (SAAMI specifications) Bullpup, magazine fed, dissasembles into 3 sections, about 16 in. Twist delayed bolt(revisiting old bolt concept), blow-back operation, full-auto and locked bolt. Hammerless, functions off of spring loaded button/bolt contact. M1913 accessory rail per specifications. This was a project developed on Solid Edge ST6 for Simulation environment analysis, along with other analyses completed in FEMAP v11. Now that the analysis is complete, the concept development has stopped (so I can return to fruitful endeavors) Numerous features were not added, including many fasteners, quick release tabs, springs, etc, as well as the safety, sear, and fire selector. Ideally, I'd like to return to the concept and complete the details, perhaps on the next run. I'd change numerous things, including gutting the hammerless design, magazine placement, delay type, refining the dissasembled components, quick release tabs, and so on.
