Scout Sign (separate pedestal & mirrored)

Scout Sign (separate pedestal & mirrored)

This is a remix of the stunning design created by jreimers, available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2927535. It tackles two key issues: 1) The original model depicted a left hand, while scouts typically use their right hands to salute; they shake hands with their left hands. 2) I separated the pedestal from the hand, enabling users to create them with different materials and making painting easier. The object requires rescaling to achieve life-size dimensions. To accomplish this, I increased my model's size by 7753.11% to match the scale of my hand. A shallow layer connecting the hand to the pedestal was intentionally left intact for proper alignment between the sculpture and pedestal. Depending on the slicer settings used, this might not be accurately reproduced; users may need to adjust their initial layer height to ensure the wrist cross-section outline is visible. Edit: On September 24th, 2018, I re-uploaded the object files specifically designed for a right hand.
