EDIT 9/1/2016: Added a "low" version of the scraper (pictured in green). This one has slightly modified geometry that allows the blade to be pressed against surfaces at a lower angle. Includes a cap, as well.

Sturdy and compact handle for standard scraper blades. Includes a snap-on cap for safety and a hole for hanging on a hook. Blades are easy to change and hold securely.

Fits on my tool holder!

Print Settings

Printer:

Wanhao Duplicator i3

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

No

Notes:

I recommend printing with the scraper on its side and the cap on its end, as shown in the screenshot. You shouldn't need any supports. Make sure to print with the slot facing upwards (again, see screenshot).
I find that even with good print settings some light stringing can occur across the opening, making it difficult to insert the blade. The easiest solution to this is to run the edge of the blade through the slot at an angle followed by a couple passes with some fine sandpaper. This process takes only around ten seconds.

Category: Hand Tools
