This was created by **Andrew Forster**, and originally found on myminifactory. See: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-screw-press-cover-3024. I do not make any claims of ownership at all. He released his STL under a Credit - Remix - Noncommercial license structure, so I am maintaining that license structure here. Just be sure to credit Andrew Forster, @andrewforster. Background -------- I was looking for a simple screw cover that I could use to press into a Phillips head screw that was in one of my projects. The project is a nice white, but the screw is metal of course, so having a little plastic cover is nice and hides it well. This was exactly what I needed. Once in Cura (or similar program), just scale it to meet your needs. I printed at low quality, no supports, 50% infill. I always use a raft in my prints, but you may not need to. I recommend printing several scale versions first, to see which one will fit your screw perfectly. My screw is 8mm wide, so I printed at 8mm, 8.5mm, and 9mm as a test. I ended up using a 10mm wide scale for my 8mm screw. I also used a dab of household (elmer's or similar) glue to help hold it in place. That kind of glue is easy to detatch if you need to later.
