Screw Hole Filler Cap / Plug

Screw Hole Filler Cap / Plug

I have several metal doors around the house that had mini blinds installed on them. When we changed the blinds out, they left unsightly screw holes. If it were a wooden door, I would have puttied the holes and repainted, but since the doors are sheet metal, I decided on a different tactic. I printed these plugs in white to press fit into the screw holes. They have threaded shafts and a flanged top. The threads on the shaft allow for some variable "grab" on the hole and allows you to turn the plug to snug it tight to the door surface. The flange on the underside of the top accommodates any deformation of the door's surface. To use, I pressed the plug into the hole as far as it would go and then screwed snug by rotating with some needle nose pliers until snug to the door's surface.
