Screw lid case

Screw lid case

I've been experimenting with a simple design that features a screw-on lid. I wanted to test out some threads created using Fusion 360, so I decided to create something functional. Here's what I came up with: three on top, three on the bottom, and two for the perimeter. You might need to flip the Y-axis of the lid to get it to sit properly on the bed. I've added a second lid to the design. The first one was just a test run, but it turned out too thin for my liking. So, I gave the new lid a bit more substance. The medium file in the picture is the v2 version of the design, and I've included a higher-res version as well in case someone wants to try that and share their results with me. If you're interested in trying the top out, let me know how it turns out. I used supports for the top since it's concave, but they left an interesting pattern on the surface. To get rid of the white spots from removing the supports, I just used a lighter to touch them up.
