I ordered [this screwdriver set](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0872XMTKS/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_GH8A1PFS0V7SZZEAYN51) after my old-school metal "eyeglass" screwdriver gave me a metal splinter in my thumb. However, the screwdriver kit did not come with a case. Because I have a Prusa Mini and the screwdrivers were so long (~170mm or so), I wasn't able to draft up a "traditional" hinged box. I opted to create a cylinder, with the following design goals: - Printed in multiple parts, but it shouldn't feel like it. It should feel sturdy and solid, not flimsy. - No supports! I have nothing against supports, but I thought it would be fun to figure out how to make this without the need for any supports whatsoever. - No glue! I like the idea of the structure holding itself together without the need for glue. Nothing should back out over time - Should be durable. I should be able to chuck it in a toolbag and know it won't break and the screwdrivers won't come loose. - Optimize for the most common screwdriver sizes in the kit. It doesn't need to hold everything the kit comes with. In the end, I came up with this design. It has the following features: - All parts slide together into 2 final "large" pieces. - The gap tolerances between the male and female parts allow the pieces to slide together, but not come apart. I had a success rate of about 20% when I actually _wanted_ to forcefully pull pieces apart as I was testing fit. - The outer case has a twist-lock mechanism to pull the two pieces together snugly and hold them, but still twist apart with minimal pressure. - The screwdrivers are held securely, but pop out easily when pressure is applied under them - The sizes are easily identifiable on the "hilt" of the inner case. The sizes correspond to 3=3mm, 2=2mm, and 1=1.5mm. In the end, I had a lot of fun with this design, and hope you enjoy putting it together too!
