Screwless & silent mini ITX computer case Remix

Screwless & silent mini ITX computer case Remix

thingiverse

This is a quick remix of the Screwless and Silent Mini ITX computer case by @AS_Motion_Lab, made to be just a bit wider for either an AIO water cooler or a larger CPU cooler. All parts should fit without much adjustment. Depending on how you decide to close the case, it may feel a bit loose, but I've found no issues. A few side notes. The cardboard was necessary to cover a personal-made logo that may be copyrighted, and thus can't be displayed on the internet. I have not included it in the thing files. As for the power switch, I had to size it up by about 2 mm, but it works perfectly nonetheless. Again, many thanks to @qps_makes for printing the case for me. It took less than a week from order to delivered, even when there was an issue with their printer. Price was the lowest of any print service, and customer service is absolutely top notch. I recommend them to anyone looking to have an object printed. Look them up on Treatstock as Quick-Proto Solutions. Original Text: ====== Removed NIC hole and SMA header holes for a cleaner look on the back. Print is untested, no other changes made. Next step is to remove the SSD mount. SSD Removal - Completed Next step, resize fan holder to accommodate a Corsair HYDRO Series H60 AIO Liquid CPU Cooler, including making the case a bit larger. Once again, print is untested. I've also added an updated No SSD front piece, if you want to have this printed from one of the services Edit 24 July: I've done the work on another version of this design with a logo carved into the side, which tells me what to do exactly. Unfortunately, because of the size of the CPU cooler I'll be using, I'll have to add screw holes for the mounting, so this design, after upload, will move on from being completely screwless. Many thanks to all that have liked and collected my remix. I should have the updated version for the CPU cooler uploaded soon. Edit 26 July: The remix is now complete!!! Meet the Phat version of the Screwless & Silent Mini ITX Computer Case!!! Of course, the SSD mount is removed, and the NIC and SMA Header holes have been removed for a cleaner look. Mounting holes for the DC input jack on the Pico ATX and 19mm Angel Eye Push Button have been shifted to allow a Corsair Hydro Series H60 to fit comfortably with no binding, making this case a high potential for use as a mini gaming rig! I hope you enjoy it, and if you happen to print one, post a pic!!! Sizes for each half are: Front, 109.50 x 199.56 x 165.32 mm; Back, 93.54 x 199.56 x 165.32 mm. Side note: I plan to have this printed soon, and once I get the parts that I'm throwing in, I'll post a few pics for everyone. Planned parts include: 1. GIGABYTE GA-AB350N-Gaming WIFI https://amzn.com/B073PWKSP6 2. AMD Ryzen 3 2200G Processor with Radeon Vega 8 Graphics https://amzn.com/B079D3DBNM 3. It may take a few weeks, but if you already know enough about building a computer, you've probably got an idea where I'm going with my build and can do this on your own. As a word of precaution, make sure you use a VERY good input power supply, such as the Xbox One, and test that the 12V is clean, since it goes directly from the power supply into the motherboard. Good luck with your build, and don't forget to post a picture if you happen to print this case! Edit 16 Aug: I know it's been a while since any progress has surfaced on this case, however..... I've finally got everything done as far as the actual computer side of things is concerned. The 220W power supply I've chosen works perfectly, and is enough to run everything I usually do, including having two monitors and playing the few games I play. I haven't gotten the case, however, I've ordered it through Treatstock (with some minor, personal editing to the case itself), and it should be here tomorrow (17 Aug). I work nightshift over the weekend, so I won't be able to get pictures up yet (I intend to cover the personal editing, more when pictures are posted), but should have them ready by Tuesday (21 Aug). One list item changed, because of pricing. It has been edited. On a personal (and mostly business) note, I would like to recommend the print service I had print this case for me to everyone. Quick Proto-Solutions, based out of Fayetteville, NC, took amazing care to keep in contact with me during the printing process. They currently have three printers running PLA in a wide range of colors, and can print large objects at down to 20 micron (0.001in, 0.02mm) very quickly. The entire case was printed on their Lulzbot Taz 6 in less than a day. Even when it went down with a bad thermistor, they kept me informed of the delay, gave me a potential time, and still sent out before the original deadline. Lowest price, lowest shipping, highest customer service. I placed my order just last Friday (10 Aug), and it'll be delivered after only one week, even with a delay. My many thanks to the great people with Quick Proto-Solutions.
