Screws and nuts as STEP (https://youtube.com/shorts/fVng08P1fYI?si=mb-4Y0D-2Bx1KvxO)
A set of fully 3D-printed screws and nuts has been produced, functioning smoothly straight off the printer with no cleanup required. All components were modeled from the ground up, with multiple tolerances tested to achieve threads that feel unexpectedly solid for pure filament prints.
An insert-ready version was also created, allowing the threaded features to be placed directly into existing projects without any redesign. Once positioned, the part can be printed with functional threads built right in.
To ensure easy integration into any workflow, the entire design has been exported as a STEP file, eliminating conversion issues, mesh problems, and the need for re-modeling
