Scroll cam indexing box

Scroll cam indexing box

This is an indexing mechanism sometimes known as a 'scroll cam box'. Derived from Grahovski's 'Globoidal cam indexer' posted on GrabCAD. Model made in Diamond Age PLA on an Ultimaker 1. Designed in MOI. One of the stl files is an assembly which hopefully shows how it all fits together. Note that the cam follower studs have left hand threads (seemed a good idea at the time). To sidestep the problem of matching shaft diameters and holes in the casing I've designed bushes which can be adjusted in your slicer to suit the shaft diameter. The OD of the bushes is significantly less than the housings that they sit in and they can be centred with screws. Screws are M3 button heads 10mm long and 12mm long. Instructions Not all the stl files are the right orientation for printing so check first!
