Part designed for 2020 revision of ScubaJet PRO Dive Scooter with LED light/torch head. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER: Use this model at your own risk. This is a simple front nose protective cover for the dive vehicle/scooter. The cover was created to stop the front of the unit from hitting rocks while it is clipped to my dive kit or while resting on the bottom when I am taking photos of marine life. Once printed the bottom edge will likely need to be scraped and sanded as both ABS, Polycarbonate, and Nylon tend to sag on the first few layers of a heated build plate; plus you will need to use a brim for better plate adhesion. When cleaned up the cover should fit snuggly around the base of the nose section and there should be a 0.5 to 1mm gap been the actual aluminum and cover at tne front most section, to allow some water flow for cooling the LED headlight/torch when in use. Because I also use an old neoprene wetsuit sleeve to protect the front half of the vehicle /scooter, I have added barbs to the protective cover to also hold it in place under the neoprene.
