SCX10 ESC Mount for AX-2 Transmission

A direct bolt-on solution for mounting your ESC safely to your SCX10 utilizing RC4WD's AX-2 transmission. Designed to fit the "Honcho" body style, it has a pretty clean over-all appearance using 4 x 3mm fasteners for the lid itself. This works and fits in conjunction with other models I offer on my profile for the SCX10. Fits the AE-5 fine and then some. Included in the files is a pair of spacer washers, if your bolts are too long for the servo mount. It could be completely water-tight if you used a small amount of RTV or light siicone to the lid surface, otherwise it is definitely water-resistant as-is. Weather tested from 20c to -30c with PLA, no seals and it seems to work just fine covered in snow. This project goes together fine with PLA, though I can imagine ABS would be better. Even with PLA it should prove quite durable, just don't over-tighten the fasteners. Heat the M3 fasteners prior to make threads, I usually do this with excellent results. I used Velcro on the underside of the mount/top of transmission for ensured security. The lower fastener mount also acts as a servo brace for the shifting micro servo which is nice! There is room for extra wiring for those running an extended JST plug for body lighting, as I have done with one of my builds thus far. Enjoy the model if you choose to use it!
