Update:06\02\19 Changed orientation of back plate to print correctly on back rather than side when originally uploaded. SD Card Adapter Housing for Wanhao Duplicator I3 Plus, Balco Touch, Maker Select Recently the SD card Reader on my Balco Touch mechanically failed. Although out of warranty the kind people at Balco support provided me with a new main board. With the majority of card readers mounted in a similar fashion this has high lighted the fact that a cheap SD card could potentially cause a lot of expense and damage. I have therefore produced a simple SD to SD Card adaptor housing which bonds with double sided tap to the side of the printer to hopefully prevent\reduce failures to the main board reader. The front facing orientation of the reader is much better for card location. I have also included some SD Card storage card slots on the top of the housing and a ribbon tie to tie excess ribbon cable. Please note my version of the Balco Touch does not have a USB outlet(not one of Balco`s best moments) so I have therefore estimated the position from the print on the mainboard.
