SD Card Case

SD Card Case

These cases provide protection for SD Cards. And, perhaps more importantly, I find they make the SD cards less likely to disappear in a pocket, purse, backpack, or pile of stuff. The finished dimensions are approximately 48 x 35 x 8 mm. There are three types of bases: A) SD Card; B) Micro SD Card; and C) Micro SD card with its Adapter. The Lid fits each of the bases. The hole at the end of the case allows it to be hung on a nail or hook; or it can be clipped to a lanyard. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2X Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.20mm Infill: 10% Fitting the Lid The lid is designed to fit snugly and then loosen slightly as it is opened a number of times. The lid has four small knobs on the edge chamfer. Move it back and forth in the base slot a dozen times or so to wear the knobs down a bit to adjust the fit. (Note, if you close the lid completely the first time you fit it, you may find it a bit difficult to reopen.) Depending on your printer, you may need to experiment with a small percentage adjustments to the width of the lid before printing get the fit you think is right. Of course brute force adjustments with sandpaper or a file also can work..
