The Axis Panzergrenadieren are some of the first and most respected mechanized infantry in the world. From the initial blitzkrieg to the rapid shifting of the battlefield in '47, the Sd.Kfz. 251 "Hanomag" has been their ride of choice. Offering protection against small arms, fantastic off road capabilities, and a massive amount of variants, it remains a staple of Werhmacht forces around the globe. Using a drop-in floor and/or hooks to latch equipment on the sides, the hull can swap between all variants. 251/1: Standard Hanomag that carries a squad of infantry to the frontline, and supports with two MG's. Luftwaffe forces commonly add either a pintle mounted 8.8cm "Puppchen" or 10.5cm LG42 for extra punch. 251/7: Pioneer Bridge layer armed with a sPzB41 to elimate light armour. 251/9: The "Stummel" variant is armed with a short barreled 7.5cm KwK 37 for an infantry support role. 251/10: Equipped with a 3.7cm PaK 36 to quickly eliminate light armor. (Early and Late versions included) 251/16: The twin flammenwerfer's werf twice the flammen. A Close quarter anti-infantry monster. 251/17: A 2cm KwK 38 provides anti infantry and anti-air on a cheap and reliable platform. 251/20: The "Uhu" brings a powerful 60cm IR searchlight, easily identifying enemies for it's allies. (Enemy units in it's 90* arc can never benefit from reduced visibility or smoke) 251/21: A drilling (triple) 2cm MG151 turret wards off aircraft with ease, and absolutely mulches any infantry foolish enough to approach. 251/22: A dedicated armor killer, the 7.5cm PaK 46 L/46 can easily punch through medium armor, and the Hanomag's small profile makes it an excellent ambusher. (Both IR and non-IR guns included) "Stuka Zu Fuss": The Wurfrahmen 40 rocket launcher can be equipped with either 280mm HE or 320mm Incendiary rockets, either of which more than capable of completely leveling an area.
