Sea-Doo Speedster Rotax Engine Air Box Clip

Sea-Doo Speedster Rotax Engine Air Box Clip

thingiverse

This was remodelled off a Sea-Doo Speedster 1998's Airbox clip.. as in, the clip that holds the two halves of the airbox together. Recommend printing vertically so the grains holding the boxes together are contiguous. Decided to model them as Sea Doo have discontinued my boat and parts are impossible to come by, modelled this off the second last of the 8 clips that came with my boat (yeh I lost 6 already!!).. time to do something about it before I lose the final 2. It's for a Rotax engine so if you recognise the part, it might fit your jet-ski or boat too... feel free to download and print. Non-commercial license, for personal use only, do not sell this as this is likely existing Sea-doo (Bombardier) or Rotax IP. I don't personally like the factory design, the finger grips and the rear clip are finicky - which is probably how the first 6 clips were lost in the first place. but in any case, this model is a near exact replica of the factory part. When I get around to it I'll re-design my own that will be better and easier to use. Optional of course but kindness makes the world a better place :). Thanks, Enjoy!
