Sea Kayak Foot Pedal Bracket for Rudder Control

This is a direct replacement for the bracket and knob on a Necky Arluk 1.x rudder control foot brace. I've used these parts to rebuild the foot braces on my Necky Arluk 1 and Arluk 1.8 sea kayaks. If you have one of Necky's original rudder control systems, there is a good chance the foot pedal bracket has become brittle and has cracked or broken. Stainless steel hardware used on a single foot pedal bracket: 1/4-20 x 3/4" socket cap screw 1/4-20 nut 10-32 x 1/2" socket cap screw (or pan head machine screw) 10-32 nylon lock nut \#8 flat washers (qty 3) Important Notes: The bracket STL contains two parts held together by thin bridges. Bridging two brackets provides extra stability during the print. Use an Exacto knife to slice the bridge and separate the two brackets. The small circular slots on the bracket have been added to force the slicer to reinforce the printed area under the screws. Also, depending on your printer, it may be very difficult to insert the cap screw into the knob. Either shave the walls of the knob hole with an Exacto blade or heat the cap screw head to make the insertion easier. The hexagonal key secures the knob to the screw but use a drop of super glue to reinforce the connection.
