SEA RAY mosquito screen latch

SEA RAY mosquito screen latch

thingiverse

I have made this for a guy and his SEA RAY boat. It is the latch that should fix the mosquito screen to the roof window or what it is called. I have not tried this yet but it is somewhat according to measurements from a original latch. The original one is to what I can see fixed with a pop rivet to the aluminium window frame. This one that I have made I was thinking to be fixed with a screw of some kind. The hole in the middle is diameter 4 mm. So any screw that fits in that hole ;-) I have made three different types. One to be used with a countersunk screw. One to be used with a regular screw. (ending with 2) And one with a small spacer of 2 mm underneath (ending with 3). This last one I just did as a option as I saw that it was a gap of approx 2 mm between the frame and the latch. It is not 3D-print adapted sort to say due to this as it need support and then probably get ruff underneath. I would recommend to print and try the other two versions and use some washers to get the correct spacing from the frame. I will update with result when it has been properly tested. Until then there is no guaranty that this parts works. But hell I guess that this part print in like 10 minutes so its wont be may minutes that will be wasted if you try it ;-). If you try it, Please give some feedback if it works or not!
