Seal water treatment skid takes 5 outlets from mechanical seal cooling water lines, checks for product leakage/contamination (via a turbidity probe), cools (via platepack and chilled water supply) and then supplies back to seals. If product leakage detected alarm is raised and water dumped to drain before cooling. Lost water is topped up by supply to small water header tank. Significantly reduces cost of cooling water usually sent directly to drain.
