Being the 72 Seals of the Solomonic Demons/Djinn, Vessel of Brass, Magic Ring, Pentagram, Hexagram and Signet Ring of the Ars Goetia of the Lemegeton. SEALS: The seals of the Djinn are reproduced here in relief varieties. Each seal has been created from the sigil illustrations of the first edition of the Goetia vel Clavicula Solomonis Regis (by MacGregor Mathers and Aliester Crowley) after corrections were made to these sigils. Here the Hebrew has been restored after careful consideration of Orthography. The manuscripts refer to these seals as being made of metals associated with the characteristics of each Djinn (Gold, Silver, Copper, Mercury Alloy, Silver-Copper Alloy, Iron and Tin). The reverse side of each seal shows the Pentagram of Solomon. This conforms with the description of the creation of the seals in the literature. Line drawings of each seal are also provided for use in font creations and other graphic processes (BMP files) VESSEL OF BRASS: The vessel has been created here as a faithful reproduction of the illustration given in various manuscripts. The drawings are crude but do depict the type of brass vessel still found in the Indias. The Hebrew words given in the illustrations are here faithfully reproduced as actual embossments (not textures) and the seal “atop the vessel, etc.” is also embossed in the model. Note that the “hammered” look of the model is a bump-map (provided). MAGIC RING: The magic ring of Solomon is a point of contention. The illustration(s) in various manuscripts only show two or three concentric circles with Latinized characters. Different manuscripts describe (in the text) ambiguous modes of use. SOLOMON’S SIGNET RING: There is a great deal of historical speculation as to the way Solomon’s signet ring looked. The Ars Goetia describes Solomon’s seal which is found on the top of the Brass Vessel and in various other uses. Here the Seal and the ring are given together as a set to suit preferences. Note the hammered look of the ring is a bump-map thought the seal is an actual embossment in the ring and seal model.
