Probably one of those things that nobody will ever need/want, but thought I would put it out here just in case. I was not happy with the comfort of the seat in my Jackson Coosa FD and found that a Hobie Vantage ST would fit nearly perfectly. The Hobie Vantage seat is stupid expensive so unless someone happens to have an extra or finds one really cheap then this is an unlikely modification or retrofit. A few stainless machine bolts hold them in place, and the Jackson base is plenty thick and beefy to keep them in place. The Hobie Vantage seat feet pivot in under the new printed blocks, and the rear crossmember then drops down and wedges into the rear riser with just a little tension to lock into place. It holds tight in place, doesn’t have any side to side movement, and is super easy to remove and install. It’s a couple inches higher than the stock Jackson seat so it may be too high for some people but for my fishing area and style it’s just about perfect.
