hi! This is a belt buckle made for 1 inch belts. YThis has to be used with pants or something that has somewhat constant tension on it (tension is part of what holds it closed) The parts that you see when you use it are the parts on the bed when printing, so that should make the finish somewhat even (depending on what bed type you use). All you do, once you install it on the belt, is insert the little T-shaped part in the whole on the other half, and it holds itself together with friction and the tension of the belt pulling on each side. no need for super tight belts, mine is quite loose and hasn't actually come undone yet. I printed the a version in of PLA and it lasted a while (the part that broke was too small, that got fixed) and this one is made of PETG so it should last a few years, I hope. You have to print with supports on for the part that is t-shaped and sticks out, and then remove the supports, which is in a very tight place. I used a small file, broke it off and filed the surfaces until it fit - about 3-5 minutes' worth of work. enjoy... and don't be afraid to hit like, it doesn't cost anything, and it encourages me to make more designs. Here is a video of it in action (and no, I don't wear my shirt tucked in but I did for the sake of the video :-) I know it look dorky). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=faufsHiZGgI
