I made this bracket so i could run a 5" 71 Chevelle idler arm on my 71 Camaro. The factory Camaro idler arm is 6" center to center. The 5" center distance matches my 5" Howe pitman arm. This gives me uniform steering geometry and more clearance for a larger, straight sway bar. The pictures show a Ø1 3/8", straight sway bar with plenty of clearance. Howe Billet Pitman Arm 2349 Moog Idler Arm K5143 (note: the attachment hole for the center link will have to be reamed larger with a 7° (1.5 on 12) reamer)
