Sectional Track for WarLayer Trains

Sectional Track for WarLayer Trains

These are sectional track sections for Warlayer wargaming trains. I wanted track that could easily be assembled for games and would stay aligned during the game. I used the straight and curved STL files from Andrew's sets, scaled them down to 60% in X and Y axes and 80% for the Z axis because I wanted to replicate a small industrial narrow gauge railroad for mantic's Deadzone game. To use, you will need to scale down the Warlayer train cars and wheelsets to 60% or scale up the tracks to fit the original cars. On my printer I had to trim the tabs a little to get them to fit nicely. I didn't bother with flangeways or a frog on the switch since this is for static display purposes and the train wheels sit inside the rails rather than on the track with flanges so I thought the cutouts would need to be too big and not worth the extra work. The trains are available on the Warlayer website: https://warlayer.com/ You can find some free sample Warlayer designs on Andrew's page: https://www.thingiverse.com/aaskedall/designs Andrew gave permission to upload these files.
