Seed germination dish

Seed germination dish

thingiverse

Small dish for germinating vegetable seeds. The dish keeps the seeds constantly moist by supplying water through holes. There are also holes in the bottom of the dish and at the bottom of the sides, so that the roots are not disturbed after germination. Once the sprouts have grown to a certain size, the whole dish can be replanted in a pot. There is therefore no risk of damaging the roots when replanting. ■How to use *See video for more information. 1) 3D print the number of germination dishes you need. 2) Arrange dishes on a tray. 3) Fill the dishes with indoor growing soil, such as pumice, perlite or red ball soil, and sprinkle the seeds. 4) Fill the dish with water and wait until they germinate. About "biodegradability" of the thing, as commented by #BlackouTT, using an algae filament may turn it degradable, i.e. the dish would disappear in a pot through time.
