I was really looking forward to this project, but when I finally printed it out, I discovered that my phone wouldn't fit inside. The main reason I decided to print this was because I normally use a protective case on my phone, and as a result, the camera doesn't get a full connection. This makes it easy for the camera to become loose and prone to being bumped. So, I wanted this handle to be able to accommodate my phone while it's still in its case. However, when I put my phone into the handle, it didn't fit properly because of the case. To solve this issue, I made some modifications to the design so that a phone with a case would still fit inside. As part of these changes, I lengthened the overlap on the slide sections to make them more stable and increased the width of the clamps. When it came time to print out my realization of this design, I chose to use a spring instead of a rubber band for the mechanism. I felt that the spring looked better and added some extra padding in each clamp to create friction. I left the grip section completely unchanged.
