Hello, this is fully functional DIY Sega GameGear Satellite. It got its name from the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) Satellite which is a 4-way hub that sends the commands from 4 NES controllers wirelessly from the hub to the NES Console. Unlike the NES Satellite, this homebrew GG Satellite sends the VGA signal from a modded GameGear (already with VGA output) wirelessly to an analog TV via the UHF band. Yes, a modern flat screen with built-in analog TV tuner would receive the transmitted video but this device is truly intended for retro-gaming the GG with a retro CRT analog TV. Refer to the videos below on how to build this Satellite and how to do the VGA-out mod for the GameGear.
