Segmented arm armour for use at Orion Sphere LRP (http://www.orionspherelrp.co.uk). Armour designed to print on a small printer with some flexibility regarding size. Holds together using small M3 hex nuts and low-profile M3 machine screws. There are loops along some segments for a thin strap, such as 20mm double-sided hook-loop tape. Orion Sphere LRP is a science fiction live roleplay game that run events in the UK. Players take on the role of starship crews, companies and research institutes, as one of a host of alien species and in one of four competing Factions. Bracer: Sequenced as numbered segments that are designed to fit together. Print with the front edge on the bed, and use a brim at least if you can. Nuts are placed into the hexagonal slots on the outside, and screws on the inside (get a low-profile machine screw so it doesn't scratch your arm). Designed for small M3 hex nuts and machine screws. If you have a thinner arm, use segments 0_Start, 1, 2, 3, 4_End. If you have a thicker arm, use 1_Start, 2, 3, 4_A & 4_B, 5_A & 5_B. Segments with A and B parts are divided into two, with a central point for the nut and machine screw to hold the two parts together. Elbow Cop: Three segments that connect via a pair of loose pins that allow pivoting. This was originally designed as a wrist guard, so the scale is on the small side - you will probably need to size it up - the inner diameter of the smallest section should fit around your elbow with a little bit of clearance. One pin on either side, with the screw section on the inside (you should be able to screw it with a flathead screwdriver without tearing the slot too much), and leave it loose enough that the movement is smooth. There are catches on each section so that they spread out to cover the elbow when it bends - these might need a little bit of shaving down so that the movement is nice and clean. Sew the fobs on the outer edges to a strap or velcro strip - straps should be tied just above and just below the elbow.
