Seiko 7009 movement replacement dial spacer

Seiko 7009 movement replacement dial spacer

prusaprinters

This is a dial spacer ring replacement for a vintage Seiko 7009 movement, similar to Seiko part 884 283. This fits between the dial and the main plate and prevents the dial from fouling the day and date wheels. It also helps center the movement in the case.

I printed this and verified it fit on 7009 movement. This may work on other 7000 series movements if they use the same part number, I haven't checked.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3 Pro

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

Doesn't matter

Infill:

100%

Filament: Doesn't matter PLA Doesn't matter

Notes:

I used a standard 0.4mm nozzle and 0.12mm Z height with a heated bed. If you sand or shave anything off, make sure you clean it well before putting in the watch.

How I Designed This

Measured an existing part with calipers and recreated it in Tinkercad.

Category: Jewelry
