SELF-SQUARING FLIP STOP

SELF-SQUARING FLIP STOP

This is the self-squaring piece from ISBI's Flip-Stop for Table Saw or Miter Saw: https://youtu.be/TwceqFnHbFs It is designed for use with 1/4-20 bolts, both for the T-nut locking knob and attaching the flip stop piece. I printed this with 3 shells to ensure enough material for tapping the end hole for a 1/4-20 bolt. I ran a #7 drill into the hole before tapping (#7 is the tap drill size for 1/4-20 threads). That may not be necessary, however, as that hole was designed the same size as #7. I also started the tapping in my drill press to ensure the threads are straight. About the threading: I'm planning on using a regular tapered tap to ensure a snug fit so that the flip stop bolt doesn't work loose. I'm also planning on making the actual flip stop piece from wood.
