GrabCAD
This model can teach students how simple parts can be combine in order to build strong structures and trigonometry.
The 3d printing method chosen is FDM. The main reason is that this design the tolerance level isn't high. Allowing higher slices thickness that the FDM can provide.
The x-y plane is positioned in other to increase the parts strengths and reducing supporting material.
The design consist of 2 structural elements, 1 base element and 1 and a finishing part. The last two aren't mandatory for the design work.
This design can increase in total size based on the number of structural parts printed.
A .xlsx file is added showing the bridge shape is affected by 3 dimensional factor (number of segments limited to 30)
Unfortunately i cant check if my model is printable. But should be since is a relatively a simple geometry.
Just the Part1 need support on the central area, the other parts dont need support.
