Light Pole

This is a light pole for the Self-watering Planter 3 by O3D.
The pole fits in the water filling tube and it should be removed every time you want to add water. The light diffuser should be printed using natural or white PLA. An additional hanging electronics case is available to hold a WEMOS D1 mini which is intent to control the light. *My plan was to use the self watering planter indoors and help the plant grow when environment can't provide enough light for the plant. So I created a simple ESP8266 circuit with three LED lights (a WS8212B led strip used for this). To automate the light control I used Sinric (www.sinric.com) and the corresponding Alexa skill. This way I have created routines on my Alexa to turn on and off the light during a specific time period. According my research the my plant needs 12 hours of light per day to grow.* The arduino sketch is available on pastebin: **Alexa-Sinric sketch** https://pastebin.com/Gv5CLT4B Of course you can use simpler way to turn on the lights by customizing the arduino code. for this a **Simple light test sketch** is available. https://pastebin.com/z3zpheNp Please note that the WS8212B is also known as neopixel and requires three wires from the board: **5V** (Positive), **Ground** and **Data**. In the above mentioned sketches the data wire is connected to D2 pin of Wemos D1 mini which is the GPIO4 on Arduino.
