Semi automated Seed Sowing Machine Concept and project

This was our small project. however alot was there to improve. Braking, seed metering system. the handling, the weight could have been reduced. and so on...The machine did work. I learned a lot from the project which i never learned from my engineering classes. I learned to do sheet metal fabrication and riveting, welding, metal cutting. The engine was old and rusty. I disassembled it completely, cleaned it and that gave me a good overview of the engine basics. I also got to met a guy who still uses kerosene powered handheld torch to do soldering. That torch was ancient and something I have never seen before. Learning how it worked was totally another experience.
