My inductive sensor broke and wanted to replace it with another one until it would arrive I used the stock z endstop. I also started using a glass bed. after countless manual calibrating I had enough and though about a semi automatic endstop fitting between the carriage and the extrudermotor. it just screws in the 2 screws (rather tiny holes) and friction fits between the carriage it should be added before every G29 and removed after every G29. you can add G4 Sxx (xx being amount of seconds) to your gcode to wait some seconds before it starts to print giving you time to remove the mount these are my values in marlin 1.1 software you should enable/change these. define FIX_MOUNTED_PROBE define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 44 define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -21 define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -6.5 define AUTO_BED_LEVELING_BILINEAR define Z_SAFE_HOMING define LEFT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 10 define RIGHT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 210 define FRONT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 20 define BACK_PROBE_BED_POSITION 190 I disabled this so I could use the skynet guide for autoleveling (screenshot in pictures) define MIN_SOFTWARE_ENDSTOPS
