The board features several RJ45 connectors which transmit power and i2c signals between ports. It is designed for the Sensing Platform accessible at http://sensingplatform.org/. The layout was planned to reduce vias, and has placed the RJ45 traces on the bottom side, eliminating the need for through plating.
