Serpent SRX-2 Gen3 Waterfall Fan Mount

This is a waterfall fan mount that I made for the Serpent SRX-2 Gen3 platform. It is recommended that you use an aluminum fan with it, as the fan itself will be part of the battery hold down system. A 30x30x10mm fan fits very snugly and will not hit the stock body. Aftermarket bodies have not yet been tried. Some may fit better, while others may rub and need holes cut. Some fans seem to stop at certain points of the motor rotation (magnetic field of the motor interferes with the fan), you will have to try different fans until you find one that works well. I am having good luck with the aluminum "Rocket" branded ones that can be found on amazon. V2.2 fixes some clearance issues with the battery hold down.
