Servo drive window actuator

Servo drive window actuator

thingiverse

A bracket and links to create a servo driven window actuator. Print at atleast 50% infill for enough strength, 10% isn't enough. :) Included the ino sketch for a arduino or esp8266 to drive the servo. Make sure to use a 2 Amp power supply as these stronger servo really need a bit of gusto. The ESP or Arduino is for managing to drive the servo slowly and go to idle. I then drive a input state high or low from a ESP32 with ESPEasy that is connected to Domoticz. ESPeasy does have servo control, but can't drive a servo slowly. This servo is a digital servo, and in the window closed position it is actually the servo midpoint. Opening the window it goes to 90 degrees, unless you have a 270 degree servo which can go to 135. It should be enough for fresh air. Added a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjF7tr8amog
