Servo Mount

Servo Mount

After trying various brackets for mounting 9g servos on my model railway I decided to have a go at designing my own, you need to cut off the mounting bracket on pivot side of the servo and it just clips into place. I find the best pivot point for my ho scale turnouts to be the 3rd hole from the center but this can be moved in or out to suit the degree of movement you require. There is allowance to mount 2 x micro switches, these can be used for either powering live frog switches or various other things such as signals ect, you use the 2 screws supplied with the servo to mount 1 switch. The pivot is made from a piece of piano wire which is approximately 70mm long with a z bend in one end to hook to the servo arm.
