This model includes a 3D printed servo horn, eliminating the need for a separate spring. This design could be useful for home automation, or simply as a fun and relatively easy project to do with a (MG90s-sized) servo. The servo horn is printed without a spline, making it a press-fit, but seems to do the job. As you're aware, you may have to tweak settings and/or tolerances.
