Set of earrings with holographic animation

It was important for me to find out how light is reflected and control its movement. To do this, I formed a surface from small pixels. Each flake is located at a special angle to the surface plane. Their groups make it possible to see several phases of light reflection. In the last project I started experimenting, now I managed to achieve the movement of various geometric shapes: a square, a circle, lines, a star, a zigzag. Use it without limits in your projects!</p> <figure class="media"> <oembed url="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Tchs5kNGnuQ"></oembed> </figure> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>For printing, you should choose the most shiny plastic, for example, the one called Silk. It even works on regular black PLA or PETG, though. I think dark shiny plastic have a slightly stronger effect than lighter ones.<br/> All files are printed without support, but it is worth giving a small brim (I set 3mm). Layer thickness 0.2 mm, width 0.45, nozzle 0.4 (I think it is possible to make a smaller layer thickness and height, but I have not tested this). The parts are small, so it is better to choose a small speed, for example, 40mm / s and turn on the cooling.<br/> Slicer can detect some "errors" in the model - this does not affect the result in any way. In addition, PrusaSlicer fixes them automatically.</p>
