This hand crank is designed to power a Willcox & Gibbs chainstitch sewing machine. Base is clamped or screwed to a table and a rubber or leather treadle belt runs from the crank wheel to the handwheel of the sewing machine. It may also work with other sewing machines that have a groove for a treadle belt. Note: Work in progress, expect some revisions and please share any feedback that you have. Hardware: 2 inch long, 5/16 inch diameter bolt, 2 washers and a 5/16 nut ; 2 inch long 1/4 " dia. bolt, nut.
