Sewing Machine Husqvarna Viking 940 handwheel

This is a replacement hand crank wheel for a Husqvarna Viking sewing machine from the 80's. The problem with the design is that it's not just a hand crank, it's also the timing mechanism for the stepper motors to do things. The plastic that was used when it was manufactured has become very brittle and the things are starting to break. But it's an amazing machine and I needed to finish a sewing project quickly. Rather than go buy a new and very cheep machine, or order a $50 part that would take days to arrive, I decided to reverse engineer and print the part. The Solidworks design has some extra knobbyness to make it a little easier to crank. Here's a link to an OEM knob if you want an injection molded part: https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/handwheel-viking-4122222-03.aspx
