This is the second version of my previous project: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:251150 Please go there to read the full story behind this follow-up. Since i have the first version in daily use i 've noticed there are some "bugs" inside. The first was, that the clamps tend to brake at the bottom clamp part. So i made the new version stronger. In the stronger shape i thought an eye would look nice - the dragon head was born ;) Another bugging point was, that the clamps start to slip on the glass when the tension of the clamp had lost. Pla that i used to print, is not a flexible material as well and didn't bend back. (analogies with the actual i phone 6 are randomly) Also it breaks after a few bends. Anyway, i made four slots in the clamp that can be supplied with once cut o-rings. Also the the visible rest of the o-rings give them a funny look. At least i redesigned the ring to get it fixed now in the clamp, instead in a tiny and easy to break slot. Instructions It is recommended to print the clamp with 0,2mm layer height. 0,3 mm will work too, but the slots get not so precise ans the printer will print "in air" on the overhang of the slots. The pin needs a little support to print. O - rings with 2,5 mm strength will fit good in the slots. The tension is good enough if you only supply 2 slots with them. Its a bit tricky to mount the clamp with the ring shaped o-ring parts at once. Maybe you gather an other material laying around in your workshop or you glue the ring segments in before.
