SFF mATX Desktop PC Case - 15L

This is an SFF mATX PC case that I designed. I wanted to use full size components, but in as small a form factor as possible. Since the only printer I have is an Ender 3, all components needed to be small enough to fit. Case Specifications: - CPU cooler up to 50mm - ATX PSU - Graphics card up to 225mm long - mATX Motherboard (9.6 x 9.6 in) - No SATA drives, m.2 only - 2x 120mm intake fans - Case Dimensions: H = 270mm, L = 300mm, W = 188mm The side panels of the case are laser cut from 3mm acrylic, so if you want to make this case you will probably need access to a laser cutter. Some Design Information: Whilst the cooling situation may appear concerning at first, after benchmarking all components and doing gaming on the system that I built in this case, the cooling is actually quite good. I am using a Ryzen 2600 with stock cooler and GTX 1660ti, with a 450W PSU. I couldn't seem to get temperatures for either to above about 72 degrees, which is about the same temperatures you’d see in a regular PC case. This design of case is referred to as a sandwich style case, placing the PSU and CPU directly opposite each other. The PSU sits near the top to allow space for the graphics card under it. The two intake fans sit at the front, with about 30mm of space in front of them, to allow them to work efficiently. Air is taken from the back side of the case, through a grate. Since there is no exhaust fan, the vents are the back of the case are relatively large, allowing air to freely exit. One benefit of such a small case is that air is forced through the case very directly, cooling all the components. The fans I used were $10 each, so I would imagine using some Noctua fans would show even better performance. Hardware needed: To build this case you will need a bunch of hardware, but if you’ve been doing 3D printing projects I would imagine you’d have everything you need lying around. Threaded inserts, M3, 3mm long - QTY 20 for joining case - QTY 6 for motherboard mounts - QTY 8 for side panel mounts - QTY 2 for switch mount - QTY 2 for PCIe mount - QTY 4 for fan mount - Total: 42 M3 screws - QTY 6, 6mm long for mounting motherboard - QTY 20, 6mm long for joining case - QTY 8, 6mm long for mounting side panels - QTY 2, 5mm long for mounting switch - QTY 2, 3mm long for PCIe mount - QTY 4, 5mm long for mounting fan bracket Other screws You will need to find some 10-12mm long 6-32 screws for mounting the PSU, if your PSU does not use 3mm screws. Parts You will need to find a PC switch. I took one from an old case, but I know they can be found pretty easily. Look in the images of the thing, I have put an image of the type you are looking for.
