Shabtis or ushabtis are ancient Egyptian funerary figures positioned within a tomb with its deceased owner, expected to assume human form in the afterlife and serve accordingly. The University of Birmingham (UK) website previously exhibited numerous shabti models; however, their STL versions are no longer accessible. If available, one model comes as a complete structure requiring support, while another is split into two halves without the need for support but may necessitate filling gaps before painting. To join the halved model, wrap an elastic band around both ends and soften the plastic in hot water to ensure proper contact; this trick works best with PLA filament.
